Today I had the random thought to myself… “Whatever happened to those recordings for the giant pile driver you happened upon 9 months ago?”
Then ensued a search through all of my SD cards to no avail. After almost accepting that they were lost, I realized I hadn’t checked my D100’s internal memory. There they were! (Along with a few other things I’d forgotten about)
Now, they are yours as well. All embedded with metadata and UCS-ified for your database. This was a really large pile driver hammering in a structural beam across the river from where I was recording. I still would love to properly record one of these some day. Would be a great reason to finally pick up a Geofón!
